Our citrusy and refreshing Berliner Weisse is a modern take on a true Berlin classic. Brewed using the same traditional lactic acid cultures as the Berlin brewers of the 1920's, our Berliner Weisse is a bright and sparkling thirst-quencher. The beer embodies the liveliness of summer with the fruity tang of lemon and melon, further complimented by the tartness of rhubarb and gooseberries. To ensure a properly Stone (and therefore iconoclastic) Berliner Weisse, we upped the ABV to a healthy 4.7% and hopped the beer with new German varieties, Huell Melon and Callista.

Hazed pale yellow color with a white head. Decent lacing. Fine intensity in the aroma. Good balance. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Good balance between sweetness and acidity. Citric, lactic and fruity flavor. Nice refreshing stuff. Semi dry ending.

33cl can. Great floral nose - the fresh dry-hopping is there over the body of sourish Weiße. The beer starts fresh and deep. Not too intense sour, slightly tart with a great deep sourish mild body. Floral fresh hops in the back, mild sourness with lemon and earthy funk. Great long sourish aftertaste with hints of sulphur and lactic mildness, combined with fresh floral citrus pine hops. Great Berliner Weisse!
