Double Stout with Chocolate Cake, Cinnamon, and Chilies.
Ancient Power is our Mexican style Chocolate Cake Double Stout. Almost 300 pounds of cake baked by our friend Josh Lemieux was added to the mash. Producing decadent flavors of Chocolate Ganache. The cinnamon flavor is balanced by the slight hint of heat that doesn’t linger too long.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark brown color with a one finger tan foamy head that dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: chocolate cake, cinnamon, sweet cream, some fudge-like tones and a super light dose of chilis
Flavor: leads with a sweet tone combining the prior noted aromas then the cinnamon pretty light then the chili spice seems barely there; finishes like chocolate cake with cinnamon
Texture: medium bodied, good sipper, some smoothness but also some grind from the cinnamon, the chili heat is so low here it's barely noticeable
Overall: pretty nicely done impy stout but I must admit I wouldn't have minded if there was more chilis in this.

Can thanks to JMFP. Pours black with small tan head. The aroma is strong cocoa, cracker, peppers, roast. Medium body, roast, coconut, dark chocolate, boozy finish, very good.
