On tap. RBESG Rome 2010. Pours a cloudy opaque brown with a dense and creamy beige head. Tart aroma, some Balsamico. Medium body, dry yet sweet’n’tart with dried fruit and notes of wood. Fairly tart finish with lots of acetone. An interesting but not very classic Flemish Red. 030610

3rd June 2010. On tap at Brasserie 4:20. Cheers to Struise for supplying this special beer. Wish I had the palate to appreciate it! Cloudy amber beer. Tiny white head. Very light dry palate. Sourness that reminded me very much of Duchesse but also has a lot of herbal bitterness going on. There is also a little glue and a trace of milk chocolate. It’s alright but just a little to herbal for me.

Tap @ 4:20, Rome. Pours brown with a small creamy off white head. Nose is cherries and caramel. Quite tart. Dark malts, a bit of plastic, cherries, earth and caramel. Pleasant tartness. Smooth and mellow. Nice

From tap at 4:20. Pours hazy dark brown to deep amber with a small, creamy and tan head. Aroma is paint and chemicals. Lacto, cherry fruity and citric to acidic. Acidic to citric, fruity and milky. Slight chemical into a mild lacto finish, subdued acidic. Chemical finish. Strange.
