Converting ticks to rates. Had this at RBESG Rome, '10. Brown malty sweet and sour beer, appelstroop, iron, vinegar, balsamic vinegar. Not for me.

Blended thnx to carlo - cheers ! Pours clear brown , no real foam Earthmonk dominates in the smell . Taste is earthmonk , with the chocolaty back . Not over the edge earthmonk . But i like the earthnun more , next to this . Still nice though !

Tap at Brasserie 4:20, Roma, 22/06/13. Dark mahogony brown with a beige covering. Nose is light balsams, soured dark fruits, toffee, woody, big dirty sour wafts. Taste comprises tarte fruits, soured dates and prunes, woody notes, dry rot, sharp fruit notes, booze. Full bodied, fine carbonation, boozey finish. Solid enough sour but a little over boozey for me.

14/1272012 on tap @ GEIB. Bruna, riflessi coca cola, schiuma quasi assente.

RBESG 2010, draught at Brasserie 4:20
Blend of Pannepot 2005 Reserva and Earthmonk
Dark color, almost black, with a beautiful creamy head. Very strange aroma, with cream, tomatoes, sour and fermented fruits. Good body strength; sweet caramel flavor, with light fruits, wood, sourness, acetone. In the final, it’s a bit drier, and some darker malts manage to appear; creamy. A very complex beer, but difficult too.

Draft. An unclear brown beer with a dense beige head. The aroma has notes of wood, brettanomyces, and fruits. The flavor is acidic with notes of brettanomyces, wood, malt, and caramel, leading to a tart finish.
