Like all things truly Jersey, 077XX makes the most in balancing through its accentuation of extremes. Inspired by the west coast IPAs we love, we added a thump of hops to a dynamic malt profile and chose a yeast to drive these two further than they wanted to go. Throw our water into this mix and you will find dank green resinous hops popping over orange, mango and papaya aromas, with just enough sweetness of body to make the long finish a pleasure to have around. Drink 0’Dub when your night matters.

Can pour into nonic pint glass in trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Appearance is hazy, pale orange with decent sparkle, finger-width, rocky foam off-white head with excellent retention and fair soapy lacing. Aroma is bready malt with citrus, fruit and piney hops. Taste is strong initial piney resin with later milder citrus contribution counterbalanced with cracker/biscuit malts. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and dry, crisp mostly bitter finish. Overall, more successful at capturing the west coast than the east so the East Coast Double India Pale Ale on the can is a bit of a misnomer. Not particularly unique and more bitter than I'm looking for these days.

At the source: pours mostly clear gold with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit and resinous. Taste is kind of like a brewery. A very fresh hoppy feeling. Quite tasty.

Can thanks to Steve. Pours a clear golden hue with a large white head. A big fruity toasted malt nose. The flavor is marmalade, sweet herbal tea, lemons and oranges. Quite smooth. Solid. This is a cool series.

Can sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Amit. Canned 2/18/16, 3 weeks old. Clear golden. Aroma of fruity and oniony hops, and a bit of butter. Flavor has a bit of sweetish butter, and nice bitter fruity hops. Medium-bodied. The butter note is a bit annoying, but still a good beer.
