Like all things truly Jersey, 077XX makes the most in balancing through its accentuation of extremes. Inspired by the west coast IPAs we love, we added a thump of hops to a dynamic malt profile and chose a yeast to drive these two further than they wanted to go. Throw our water into this mix and you will find dank green resinous hops popping over orange, mango and papaya aromas, with just enough sweetness of body to make the long finish a pleasure to have around. Drink 0’Dub when your night matters.

Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a hazy yellow-gold color with a small foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was pine, tropical fruits, perfume and had a tangy presence. The flavor was pine, lemon, catbox and perfume with a sweet tangy undertone. Long pine and lemon finish. Moderately full bodied. Decent.

Här en riktigt bra Dipa. Inte bara grapefrukt å citron utan lite andra fina tyngre nyanser också. Annars rätt lik de moderna nu populära ljusa grape ölen.

Growler shared at Dadsgiving, big thanks to Paul, 24/11/13. Hazed orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is juicy hops, bitter orange, tropicals, light booze waft, dank hops, touch of pine. Taste comprises juicy hops, orange pith, grapefruit, tarte apricots. Medium bodied with oomph, fine carbonation, grassy semi aggressive hop bitterness in the finish. Nice easy drinking DIPA.

7/18/14: This desperately needs a full re-rate. In the meantime, moving the score to where it should be...
Location: Draft at Cork City, 4/12/13
Aroma: The nose is clean hops, pine, some hops, but a little disappointing
Appearance: It has a clear orange pour with a small head and some spotty lace
Flavor: The taste is light sweet and medium bitter, there's some resin flavor that comes though
Palate: This one is medium bodied, it has average carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: It's decent, but certainly not spectacular. I wanted a great DIPA, and I got an okay one. I just had higher expectations from a Carton DIPA considering how spectacularly they handled the hop profile of Boat Beer.
