A can of 50 FT came from a close-by HEB, curious name, what is the story? I have a snifter in place to catch the pour, a clear, light gold liquid with a heroic, at least initially, head of almost white foam. Carbonation is strong also. The scent is lightly hops with ripe yellow fruit. The taste is, well, it is all right. A retro IPA, my approval, with pine bark, citrus to a small degree, hops, some maltiness and barnyard. Some sweetness and more bitterness in contrast. Not bad, above average in a less preferred style.

Can at Big Texas Beer Fest. Pours a hazy gold with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is citrus and pine. Medium body, grapefruit, pine, lingering bitterness, very good.
