Kombinationen ljus bladhonung och bark från kanelträd (även känt som kanel) i vårat hittills sötaste mjöd är ljuv och förföriskt lättdrucket. Kanelen kommer från Marocko dit biodlaren Mats Larsson reste för att besöka sina släktingar strax innan han besöktes av Expedition Lokalt Mjöd: Ett perfekt tillfälle att inhandla lite exotiska kryddor att krydda mjöd med. Bladhonungen i mjödet är av okänt ursprung, men relativt ljus i färgen och nektarinslaget kommer från raps och klöverväxter. Mjödets vatten kommer från Kallkällan i Flöghult, som en gång i tiden såldes som mineralvatten.

Bottle, 75cl. A pale yellowish golden mead, oily. It’s flowery and quite fruity on the nose, with a good dash of honey. Honey, flowers and a pleasant fruityness, with some faint grassy hints. Honey.
