Kombinationen ljus bladhonung och bark från kanelträd (även känt som kanel) i vårat hittills sötaste mjöd är ljuv och förföriskt lättdrucket. Kanelen kommer från Marocko dit biodlaren Mats Larsson reste för att besöka sina släktingar strax innan han besöktes av Expedition Lokalt Mjöd: Ett perfekt tillfälle att inhandla lite exotiska kryddor att krydda mjöd med. Bladhonungen i mjödet är av okänt ursprung, men relativt ljus i färgen och nektarinslaget kommer från raps och klöverväxter. Mjödets vatten kommer från Kallkällan i Flöghult, som en gång i tiden såldes som mineralvatten.

2010 bottle @ Borefts. Honey and hints of cinnamon in the aroma. Very pale blonde, Sweet, with overwhelming cinnamon.

Fonefan 300814. Yellow - golden colour with no head. Aroma is honey, sugar, fruit, flower. Flavour is honey, sugar, fruit, flower, grass. OK mead.

Bottle shared at Borefts beer fest day 2 27/09/2014. Bodegraven. Many thanks to the mead master Jan. Greenish pale, petrol coloured pour, no head. Aroma is honey, pear fruits, bit of alcohol. Flavour is composed of very sweet, honey, sugars, pear fruit, warming alcohol. Very sweet, sugary. Palate is , very sugary sweet, flat.

7.6% clear very pale. Burnt flower almost herb like aroma. Smooth in the mouth. Quite drinkable and likeable. Nice.

Bottle shared at BBF 6, thanks to Jan, 27/09/14. Translucent yellow, very pale with no head. Nose is sings sweet tunes from the off, almond, honey, floral. Taste comprises pear drops, sweet licks, sugary, rosehip. Full bodied, fine carbonation, sweet licks in the close. Ok mead.

[9/27/14] Bottle sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2014 in Bodegraven. Thanks fonefan. Clear very pale color, somewhere between water and white wine. Aroma of honey and spices. Sweet flavor with honey and mild spice. OK.

Sampled from bottle thanks to Fonefan @ Borefts 2014 day 2. Clear almost watery appearance, no head. Smell and taste are clearly sweet pear, honey and sugar. Ok body and soft carbonation.
