A strong ale, brewed with guarana, Californian poppy, kola nut and Scottish heather honey. A conspiracy of trans-continental ingredients infused with some devastatingly BrewDog imaginative thinking.

From the old notes, so this is not a full rating more just a mark to myself that I have tried this one. About the beer: thought it was rather nice with honey, cocoa and spices dominating the flavor.

Re-rate 280420. Can from the brewery online shop. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of heather honey, toffee, strawberry. Taste is more bitter than I recall. But still a dirty honey edge. Old score - 2.7. I remember this well from when Brewdog Edinburgh opened. I’m glad they retired it, as it smelt like bad homebrew, and tasted much the same. New dogma is much better!

Pours a deep, copper red colour with a thick head. Sweet aroma with toffee and honey. Same goes for flavour. Hoppy and spicy finish.

Bottle. Brown bread, honey, vinous fruit - almost cherry like, and some light alcohol. Deep copper with a moderate off-white head. Sweet brown bread, caramel, and spicy herbal bitter flavor. Medium body, very soft carbonation.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a deep mahogany with no carbonation. The aroma is bitter and peaty. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with bags of liqourice on the palate and in the aftertaste. A super beer, but not too dissimilar to the offerings from other breweries that get lower ratings

Bottle @ home, picked up at Supermarket Liquor Foco. Pours a hazy reddish orange appearance with a fluffy, light brown head. Herbal/leaf, soapy, cola, Somewhat spicy, caramel aroma. Tangy, herbal, chewy, cola, a bit peppery, honey, toasty malty flavor. Pretty easy to drink but I think they have gotten a little too creative with the adjuncts.

Smell of nuts and caramel. Amber/red colour with beige creamy head. Nutty aroma, very sweet and slightly bitter. Very balanced and nice palate.
