A strong ale, brewed with guarana, Californian poppy, kola nut and Scottish heather honey. A conspiracy of trans-continental ingredients infused with some devastatingly BrewDog imaginative thinking.

18/4/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers! Pours clear dark golden amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, toffee, fruity, touch herbal. Medium plus sweetness and medium bitterness. Quite full bodied, sticky texture, average to soft carbonation. Liked it.

Can thanks to Cloin: Poured a coppery orange with a thin creamy off white head. Aroma is nutty, malty, nice booziness. Taste is rich malty, nutty, some underlying sweetness.

Clear golden beer, white head. Hoppy, floral caramel smell. Floral flavour too, some sweet fruit, caramel, malt. Quite a boozy flavour. It's decent but it doesn't feel like it has the finesse of a lot of Brewdog stuff.

Appearance is clear amber, with a foamy beige head. Aroma is hops, honey, malty caramel. Taste is malty bread, honey, treacle and caramel, toffee malt, biscuit, bittersweet. Quite a harsh boozy undertone to it.

Can from BrewDog fanzine Sweet candy feel with honey. Quite warming. It's fine but I'm not going to be a fan.

330ml can from Brewdog Fanzine. Pours golden Amber, large white bubble bath head. Aroma is honeyed sweet malt. Taste is noticeably sweet, some discernible honey, not really picking up any of the bittersweet chocolate mentioned in the can blurb, but it's a pleasantly sweet beer somewhat reminiscent of a sweet biere de garde.

Fanzine 01/2020 Tight off white head left a decent collar & cover on a dark marmalade coloured still body. Red berry aroma. Medium bodied, sharp on the front with a fuller finish & clean aft. Pine, berries, biscuit & citrus tastes with tangy hoppy finish. Tastes like a Red Ale.
