From a 473ml can on 5/12/2020 (shared by Butz with massive thanks). Pours a clear deep golden with a medium head. Has a gorgeous nose - masses of caramel toffee, caramel, pine and resin. The taste is every bit as impressive with the same elements as the aroma coming through in spades. Full bodied with a slick mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Exhibits supreme harmony and balance and simply bursts with flavour and hoppy goodness. One of the finest double WC IPAs I’ve ever had. It actually shaded the can of Firestone Double Jack I bought with it. A fucking incredible beer.

Tap at Thrashzone. Light citrus aroma, bit funky, nice sour cream. Taste is nice herbal, bit cream again, nice. Spritzy. Bit citrus. Pretty good. Decent last beer for my RBJG weekend.

Pours deep copper and has a big, hoppy aroma with citrus and some resin. The flavor is intensely hopped with lots of citrus, some pine, and a solid malt backbone. I suppose this would be considered an old school west coast IIPA now. Whatever you call it, it's damn good.

HAH, I know I rated this before. What up RB? I did it the day it came out in a bottle, but never fresh. From the start this bottle comes across as a thicker volatile brew. Even the smell was laiden with sweet perfumy alkohol. Captivating! Yes, looks thick and rich too in all its cloudy darker hefe looking glory. First taste is a big syrupy, not sher if its hoppy, smash in the mouth. Hey, I haven't had a fresh barley wine for a while but me thinks its one. Yes, cutting sweet cloying perfumy taste melds mouth with nose, whew. Terrible thick dull hoppy middle. So big, so large, so in-charge; kicks ass from the start. Dizzying finish WTF? Racer Ten, OH MY, you beat me to the finish line. Well, at least it'll give yah the buzz, if you don't pour it. Over the top and down the sides in beer experience.

On tap at Bier:Thirty. Clear medium orange Amber. Lots of light toasted carmelized maltiness. Woody vinous resinous hop aromas and flavors. Form smooth bitter bite. Lingering ABV burn even for a rather modest 8.3% for a double. Nice bold sipper. Tasty

12 ounce bottle. Hazy amber gold color. Dense rocky beige head. Rich caramel and piney hop nose. Flavor mirrors nose, with lots of toffee and dank citrus hops. Lots of bitterness in middle. Peppery hops in finish. This is an amazing example of a West Coast Double IPA! Outstanding.

Bottle from Safeway. Dark, hazy golden pour, with soft, foamy head.Looks great, a perfect pour. Aroma features deep caramel malts with a little pine, a little citrus. Taste is more of the rich caramel malts, mellowed out by some lingering piney hops, a little earthy, with a hint of dank character. Mouthfeel is also superb, thick and chewy. One of the best DIPAs I've had.
Straightforward IPA, balanced hop flavor.

On tap at Hopcat A2. Pours a clear earthy orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has strong pine with a bit of citrus and an earthy grain and biscuit backbone. Flavor has earthy pine and grass notes backed by earthy biscuit.
