Our namesake ale represents everything a good, well balanced pale ale should be: malty but not to sweet, refreshing but not too bitter, full-bodied but not too heavy, lively but not over carbonated. A clean, everyday beer that leaves your palate begging for more. 1.054 OG 32 IBU 5.5%ABV

Sample at Kurtkeller 006: Cascade-tastic 01 on 02/21/2014. The beer is a slightly hazy golden-orange color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus and malt. Light to medium body with a slightly soapy character and flavors of herbal hops, biscuit malt and citrus. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at Alpine, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is pretty bland and lifeless, with biscuity malt and a light hop character. Flavour brings out light floral hops and biscuity malt. Very light and pretty flavourless. Clean and drinkable - just boring.

Bottle - A little grain and sweet pale malts. Clear copper with a good white rich head. Hope forward bitterness, with some grain and a touch of pale malt. A nice APA.

Tap. Pours clear pale golden, small white head, some lacing. Aroma is grain and honey, no real hops presence. Flavor is the same, medium sweet, bit of bitter. Medium body. Seems more like a golden than an APA to me.
