Oak-aged lager with honey

Lager fermented cold in a puncheon with a cooling coil, we bottle-conditioned this beer with honey and our house mixed culture for a fusion beer. Mild lager finishing with a touch of funk and very low acidity.

Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is oak and wheat. Slick body, wheat, citrus, light finish, good.

Bottle shared by Daren, thanks! Pours a hazy yellow with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of hay, light tart fruits, oak and a hint of a light funk. Flavor has light tart fruits with growing crisp hay, a hint of honey and a bit of funk supporting.
