We brewed Batch 1000 in collaboration with Gabe Fletcher of Anchorage Brewing Company, a barleywine savant of sorts. Gabe helped us hit the ground running on a style that we had never brewed before. The entirety of this batch, save one small keg, went into bourbon barrels.

375ml bottle pours out caramel color topped with a small sand head. Nose is great bourbon barrel caramel wow. Taste is more of the nice sweet caramel malts rich barrel kick.

Bottle shared by Toby. Pours clear dark brown with a small off-white head, light lacing. Caramel, vanilla, oak. Tasty

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong bourbon, wood, caramel, candi sugars, spice. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, nice sweetness, enjoyed this.
