Bottle at BBT 11/2023 #2. Rather thin body relative to strength, med-low carbonation. Med-high sourness, light sweetness and bitterness. The sourness is just plainly sour, not supported by much wild character. Med-high sour cherries rather background whisky. Light woodiness. Overall good, but not as special as we hoped for.

Sample at The Source during the "GABF Release: Member Berries Primitivo" on 10/07/2017. Deep ruby-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of tart cherry, oak, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of rye whiskey, cherry, funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is sour cherry and spicy rye. Good beer all around.
