Hidden away in the barrel cache of the Taxman Reserve cellar, our barrel-fermented golden blonde ale lies in wait, collecting fruit as it comes into season. A combination of bacteria, wild yeast and time produced a bright, dry and tart ale ripe for blending. Overflowing with raspberry aromas and tart fruit notes, this crimson sour ale is one to store away or enjoy today.

On tap at GABF. Pours a hazy ruby with small white head. The aroma is strong raspberry, yeast, oak. Thin body, raspberry, cherry, wood, light acidity, very good.

Sample at the Platform during the "4 Year Anniversary Party" on 06/30/2018. Hazy reddish-copper color with a thin off-white head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lace. Raspberry, yeast, oak and malt in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of tart raspberry, oak, funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a raspberry aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
