Our kellerbier is inspired by the long tradition of unfiltered pilsners and named after the iconoclastic DC movie starring the Shaw neighborhood and the great Peter Sellers in his last role.

Poured a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was some light crisp lager notes, with some notes of light grain. Flavor was nice light lemon notes, with a German hop character and nice malt note. Refreshing and drinkable.

Very well put together. Lightly buttery, with great grain profile and a nice showcase of German hops. Pours cloudy blonde with good head and lacing. Finishes with some light sourness with a hint of citrus. Tap at brewpub.

Draft at the source, opening night. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Aroma of white pepper and bread dough. Taste is lemon and straw. OK.

12oz glass pours a hazy straw gold with some thin, creamy white head. Nose has some dried grass, white flour, lemon, yeast. Flavor is malty, grassy, some pepper, some mint. Zesty, clean finish.
