This blend of Bourbon Barrel-aged Monsters’ Park and Modem Tones was aged for a full year in Armagnac barrels, adding mind-bendingly tasty notes of caramel, dark fruit, and toffee to the already-decadent mix of chocolaty, oaky radness. This is a solid choice if you’re looking for something special to break out during the holidays.

22oz (thx, Brian S.!) @ Ryan's shared with Farees and Phill.
Aroma: heavy, sweet, a lot of barrel, dark fruits and some molasses.
Taste: along the same lines, a lot of dark fruits, moderately sweet and thick. Finishes with noticeable charred barrel notes and dark fruits.
Overall: this is an interesting one. It has a lot of charred barrel from the bourbon barrel part and fruity notes from the armagnac part. Good one.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Very dark brown with minimal beige head. Very nice balanced armagnac character with an underlying charred bourbon note, touch of dried fruits, tasty.

Sweetish and roasty with some stingy apples, oak, wood and warming alcohol, hints of raisins. A bit boozy. --- Beer merged from original tick of Modem Tones: Aged in Armagnac Barrels on 22 Jun 2023 at 19:26 - Score: 7. Side by side with the sherry and cognac, blind.. Smooth sweet chocolate and dried fruits, some nice round barrel notes and a clean finish. Needs to be slightly warm.

Bottle thanks to Thomas. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast, licorice, wood, vanilla, booze. Slick body, licorice, roast, cocoa, vanilla, cloying sweetness, very nice.

LCI, super barrely, nose is mostly armagnac and chocolate, it's fantastic.
