Reviewed from notes.
Can to nonic glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a finger and a half of tan foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: raspberry sweetness, milk chocolate, some coffee roastiness and a light dark chocolate further down in there
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas together in a mostly sweet sort of way while pushing back the roasty tones a bit; finishes leaning into the sweet side of the raspberry and chocolate
Texture: light to medium bodied; somewhat sessionable; smooth along the tongue with not much distracting; good carb level
Overall: not a bad dessert stout but part of me was hoping for that ever so slight touch of "tart" from the raspberries but if that's the worst thing then I am pretty sure I could return to this beer.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is raspberry, cherry, cocoa, cracker, roast. Slick body, chocolate malt, roast, licorice, raspberry, nice sweetness, very good.
