Falcon, for all its grown-up levels of dry hopping, gets its due by way an actual double dry hopping of its core hop varietals. As always, your beloved IPA features a heavy dose of Falconer’s Flight, and a few other varietals that we often rotate through in order to both evaluate new and interesting cultivars, and to help maintain the spirit of the beer with what is an often-shifting target when agricultural products are depended on.
This batch received two separate dry hops, each consisting of the same pounds per barrel, of Falconer’s Flight, El Dorado, Citra, and Columbus. We taste Falcon, but with more fully saturated and pungent orange marmalade, fresh grapefruit like melon, delicately-floral mint, and our house ale yeast’s ability to tie it all together. Forever our only 7% ABV IPA

Can thanks to Randy. Pours a cloudy yellow with small white head that lasts. The aroma is grass, floral, melon, citrus, dank. Slick body, juicy, tropical fruit, grass, dusty, light bitterness, enjoyed this.

Thanks Shawn for sharing! Taster showing deep gold with sparse white foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of pineapple, mango, and light notes of sweet adzuki malts. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Light minty background with moderately intense notes of pine and clean malt.
