Field Blend is an exercise in embracing time as a source of wonder rather than an instrument of control.
This is one of an ongoing series of beers which exist because of an intersection of elements which presented themselves. As such it is less a reflection of intent and more synchronicity.
2020 Pluot, Cherry, and Raspberry Field Blend was made from a blend of barrel fermented and aged beers refermented on organic pluots from Collins Family Orchards, organic Balaton cherries from Apple Cart Fruit, and red raspberries from Graysmarsh Farm.
This beer was refermented to condition in the bottle.

750ml shared with Matt on Alex's rooftop. Appearance: clody purple with a slightly rose head. Aroma: funky, raspberry, some cherries probably. Taste: along the same Iines, nice berries, a bit dry. Overall: good one.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy, opaque pinkish reddish amber with a medium white head. Aroma is wild and fruity, with lots of buggy wild yeast, red berries, pluots, and some oak. Flavour is fairly mellow on the red fruits, with gentle pluots, oak, and buggy wild yeast. Buggy, oaky, wild, with nice gentle fruiting that accentuates this. Nothing over the top or mind-blowing, but it's very well-made. Excellent.

Bottle thanks to Ian. Pours a cloudy pink with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong plum skin, oak, funk, cherry. Slick body, sweet cherry, plum, funky, oak, nice tartness, enjoyed this.
