500ml bottle. Jet black colour, no head. BA supported, chocolately, dark malty and slightly spicy aroma, notes of maple syrup, some Bourbon, a touch of marmite and coffee. Taste is sweet-ish, roasty and chocolately, dark malty, alcoholic, slightly spicy, notes of dark chocolate, coffee, maple syrup, some Bourbon, a touch of marmite, brandy; lingering, slightly warming, alcoholic finish.
Viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, fine, flat carbonation.
Boozy, rather maple dominated, imbalanced - not that convincing.

Bottle shared by Joen. Black color, no head. Aroma is malts, soy sauce, umami. Odd. Flavor is similar, hmm a bit odd. Expected more than this. Very disappointing actually. Soy sauce tbh. Very meh. No maple, no bourbon, no vanilla. Bad bad bad beer.

Bottle thanks to William. Pours black with small tan head. The aroma is strong maple syrup, dark chocolate, wood, and bourbon. Slick body, roasted malt, cocoa, maple, light booze, very nice.
