Our straw-coloured pilsner is crystal clear and perfectly hopped, boasting a light taste and a lasting foam head with extra-fine bubbles. This all combines for a moment of pure pilsner enjoyment. For almost two centuries we’ve brewed our beer using only the best ingredients, and following the renowned German Beer Purity laws. It’s no wonder the distinct barrel-fresh taste of Bitburger Premium Pils is a firm favourite amongst beer fans, and the most poured beer in Germany!

Bottled. Pours clean golden with white head. Slightly-above-average german pilsner, not outstanding with no bigger flaws. Good for quantity drinking.

AROMA: Slightly sour with moderate scents of malt, bread, and moist loam.
APPEARANCE: Pours a clear, light gold, with a 2-finger, tight-frothed, pure-white head that dissipates slowly, with moderate lacing.
TASTE: Moderately sweet with flavors of malt and honey, which is then followed by a mild bitterness that lasts all the way through the finish. The finish is slightly dry with some mild bitterness, but at the very end of the finish there is one last gasp of sweetness before fading to black.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied with a crisp, and somewhat smooth texture. Carbonation is average.
OVERALL: I found the levels of sweet and bitter to be just right, making for a very enjoyable beer. This is one of those beers that you can drink all day and your palate will never complain. And with an ABV of 4.8%, nor will the rest of your body.
I will definitely buy this again. Especially during the summer, when the crispness of the body would be welcome on a hot day, yet the sweetness level is low enough to feel refreshing without being cloying.

Can from lowcostbeer, 1 month past BBE. Pours a clear gold with small white head. Aroma of grains, sweetness, grass. Taste is sweet, grainy, cereals and a drying bitterness. Its balanced, crisp but ultimately a little dull.

Bottle 0,5lt: One of the common traditional German lagers, golden looks, grassy start, and good bitter finish.
