Poured from the tap. Dark brown with small beige head. Sour cherry, oak, hint of tobacco, touch of bourbon. Not totally cohesive, but still quite good.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with almost no head. Nose is full of deep dark cherries upfront, followed by a touch of cocoa and some subtle barrel character. Flavour is boozy, with lots of dark cherries upfront, followed by boozy barrels, and a hint of cocoa. Boozy, cherry-dominated and oaky. Not the most complex HotD, but it's well-made.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is tobacco, cherry, wood, booze. Slick body, cherry, livorice, tobacco, wood, dry finish, very good.

Taster shared with Dima Sh. Appearance: very dark brown with a weak head. Aroma: awesome dark sour cherries and american oak. Taste: similar, however it is a bit thin, reminds black forest cake. Overall: good one
