A love of American microbrews is the inspiration behind this IPA, brewed with generous amounts of aromatic, American hops, which provide the significant freshness and bitterness with lots of citrus notes. The taste sensations are nicely balanced by the sweetness from the caramel malt.

Bottle. Orange brown color. Earthy hoppy (Cascade) aroma with grapefruit and raspberry. Very earthy hopbitter flavor with raspberry and citrus. Maltiness shimmering through. Earthy hoppy aftertaste. This beer gives almost too much of everything.

7 3 7 3 15Draft at Mikkeller Berlin. Hazy golden amber with an off white head. Aroma of citrus, fruity hops, green weeds and caramel malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light heavy bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Over a year old. Hazy deep amber. Nose: sugary nectar, honey, tropical fruit, dank, melon. Medium body. Taste: bittersweet. Clean. Honey malts. Loads of grapefruit hop. Medium plus bitterness. Satisfying. I wish it were fresh.
