12 ounce can. Amber orange color topped by a small frothy beige head. Sweet toasted malted aroma with coffee notes. Flavor is more sweet malt with caramel, coffee and vanilla notes. First sip really tastes like a regular coffee with cream and sugar. Some resiny hop notes, but the big alcohol warmth comes in to take control. Coffee flavor and vanilla stay with this brew all the way through. Quite different, but worth seeking out.

Canette 355ml. Couleur orangée voilée, mousse beige fuyante laissant un anneau sur les parois du verre. Arôme de café, crème?, malt, alcool. Goût de café, sucré, alcool, malt, crème en arrière-goût. Carbonatation moyen, corps moyen-dense. On a vraiment l’impression de boire un café crème trop sucré (et alcoolisé...).

(Can, 0.355 l, at laiti’s, 20150613, thanks) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had coffee with cream. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, coffee, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was boozy, sweet and bitter. A rather weird brew with strange aroma. A gimmick beer.

Aroma is odd and a bit musty with apricot, some sweet chocolate biscuits and truffles. Perhaps some coffee too? Flavour has cold coffee, truffles, chocolate. Like a cafe latte with too much sugar. The appearance and the taste are kind of confusing here – looks like a pale ale but tastes like a sweet (imperial) brown ale. Enjoyable, but drinking the whole can would take time – drinkability is not that great.

Pours orange with a small head. Aroma of hops, caramely malts, hints of milk coffee, creamy notes and biscuits. Taste is sweet, hoppy and malty with loads of caramel, toffee, hints of syrup, and creamy milky notes. Finish is crisp, hoppy and sweet with hints of roastiness, caramel, creamy milk coffee notes. A bit strange. Alcohol is extremely well hidden.

Can 0.355l at Laiti’s, Helsinki. Thanks to vtafro! Colour is cloudy orange with very small white head. Aromas and flavours: Coffee, creamy milk, sweetness, candies, hints of alcohol and malts. Very strange.

Can sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks Tom L. Hazy yellow. Strong aroma of coffee beans. Flavor of coffee beans and some caramelly malt. Medium-bodied.

Can. Pours hazy amber, medium white head that dissipates fairly quickly with good residual and solid lacing. Aroma is very biscuity, some coffee, honey, a bit odd.. Flavor is hella coffee, heavy sweet and medium bitter. This is like one of those hard candies; coffee all over the place with a carrying biscuity honey like maltiness profile. A lingering coffee grounds kind of ashtray finish. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. I have never tried a beer like this before.

Poured from a 12 oz can. Aroma is rather sweet with a bit of a malt character. It kind of reminds me of a fresh doughnut. Medium light coffee note, rather fruity with a light nutiness. Pours a hazy orange with a bit of rust. Small, thin white head quickly recedes to the edges where it lingers. Light lacing and fairly long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with a lot of malt character, both pale cracker malt and corn. The sweetness is a bit like a very sugary drink. Low bitterness with low alcohol spice; the alcohol is well hidden. Medium light coffee character that adds a bit of a fruitiness. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer but it?s pretty sweet and the coffee is not super apparent. The alcohol is well hidden making this easy to drink, but it?s pretty sweet.
