Spending close to 4 years in freshly emptied tequila barrels, Agave Maria Reserva is finally ready to debut. Pouring rich mahogany, Maria begins with aromas of cocoa powder and caramel, with initial flavors of oak and slight sweetness of agave nectar. Agave Maria Reserva finishes off smooth with just a gentle spice as any good tequila should.

Bottle. Pours a hazy brown with small beige head. The aroma is strong agave, wood, dark fruit. Slick body, wood, raisin, agave, boozy mess.

This was REAL rough, not even straight tequila notes, just a weird amalgamation.
