Can pour from Total Wine & More, Brentwood. Cloudy dark brown with nice sparkle, 2-finger head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong sweet roasted malt and cocoa. Taste is strong sweet, roasted, earthy malts, hint of fruit. Smooth, creamy, frothy texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish.

Pour is a dark brown, almost black with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malt and nuts. Flavor is brown ale malt, with a slight roasted nut and finishes a bit bitter and also metallic. Ok brown but nothing special.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark amber with small beige head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is cracker, nuts, cocoa. Slick body, cocoa, roast, licorice, dry finish, very nice.
