BB 05.05.2014, 0,33L bottle. Pours black with big light tan head. The head stays. Aroma is mild sweet, roast, hints of liquor. Taste is sweet, roast, burnt malt, coffee. The body is oily. Finish is tart and bitter. Overall: rather soft stout and little too unbalanced.

At a tasting, thanks DSG, small creamy espresso like head, quite dark brown colour, light coffee, bread and hay aroma, flavour of dark chocolate and dark fruit with a charred wood hint, long dark chocolatey aftertaste. Quite nice

On tap @ Micro Bar, Reykjavik. Pours black with a finger thick mocha head. Aroma is burned malts, coffee and some peat. Medium body with average carbonation. Flavour is sweet with burned malts, coffee, chocolate and muscovado.Nice, but a bit unbalanced due to overly burned notes.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a beige head. Lovely roasty aroma, some dark dried fruits also. Medium body, again pleasantly roasty - more Porter than Stout perhaps - never really ashy, dark dried fruit again, and an edge of sweet licorice. Very soft on the palate. Subdued bitterness. A nice one alright. 010813

330ml bottle brought to our Rating Session 20.08.12 from Reykjavik. Pitch black body with a foamy tan head. Anise, dark chocolate, roasted coffee, tobacco, prune and glazed apples aroma. Taste smoke, anise, tar and bitter chocolate, but a bit thinner than expected. Still a very pleasant experience!
