Maple Moon is brewed using amber malts, Cascade Aroma hops and a teasing hint of maple syrup. A very refreshing beer bursting with an underlying depth of maltiness. Subtle tastes of toffee and caramel give Maple Moon its unique sweetness.

500 ml bottle - apparently "Silver Medal Winner, Munich 2005, Brewing Industry International Awards". golden with a white head, moderate carbonation; jammy sweet smell due to pasteurisation. Tart, almost eye-watering, flavour, then apple sweetness and an acidic enamel-stripping finish. Leaves the mouth feeling sticky - but no hint of maple anywhere.

500ml bottle, Booths. Pale chestnut colour with thin beige head. Faint sherberty hop aroma, some candy sugar and tehn sherberty hop finish. Cascade hops are really quite nice. Grapefruity. Oh dear, the pasteurisation neuters the malt. Hops are good though.
