Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. A sorry looking, hazy straw colour with a thin cream head; weak cereal aroma; some citrus flavours over a floury grain body; and an unmemorable, sweet, finish. Badly conditioned or a feeble attempt at a Blond Ale.

Bottle: Pale golden to golden, lazy - but visible - carbonation, small lacy white foamy layer; moderate dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; herbal (like a peppermint infusion) grainy nose; dry lingering lemony-hoppy finish. Odd aroma, but all in all a quite pleasant brew.....

500ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Slightly hoppy aroma with hints of pineapple. Refreshing and moderately hoppy taste with notes of citrus and malt. The finish is hoppy, slightly sweet and pleasantly, but mildly bitter. Nothing fancy, but refreshing and fairly enjoyable.
