Brown 500ml bottle, best before the end of Dec 2010, drank and reviewed 9 Nov 2010. Poured into an โ€™Abbot Aleโ€™ glass tankard. Very light golden hue to the beer, a good well formed foaming, white head. No real aroma from my tankard, hints of hops and citrus esters, but very little to get excited about. The taste is a mild hop flavour, no depth, but pleasant enough, the mouth drys and the hops give a bitter aftertaste. The faint citrus smells mentioned earlier turn into a true flavour mid-drink. I bit too dry and without any malt influence for my taste. Nothing wrong with the beer, just not my sort of regular choice in a brew.

Cask at a pub in Bacup, Lancashire whilst following the famous Bacup Coco-Nutters around for the pubs of this town for the day Easter Saturday 07.04.12 Pale lemon in colour with a white head, good clarity, great condition. Hoppy and crisp with lemon most noticeable amongst the citrus flavours. Touch soft in mouth also but one of the better beers of the day. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.6

(Cask at Black Door, 20120306) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small, sparse and white. Aroma had sweetness and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, hops, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. Nice hoppiness but other flavours were too thin.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Pours light gold with a small, white and foamy head. Aroma is faintly floral with some straw. Flavor is sweet with cereal, creamy and wet grains, a bit of white sugar, some almost rotten lemon. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, has some very light hops present, sugary malts like cereal, hay and some grain. Not superb but after awhile I get used to it. Iโ€™m not sure what that says about the beer, and Iโ€™m certainly not sure what that says about me.
