500ml bottle from b&m. Previously had this beer at the Peterborough beer festival 2013. Golden beer with medium head. Aroma is light malt. Taste is similar.

Cask at the March Hare, Dunton. Golden beer with little head. Very faint sulphrous aroma. Taste is bitter/sour, no real flavours to latch on to. A pointless exercise; the cask may have been near the end but even allowing for this I’m afraid I can’t recommend this.

Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Light carbonation and lacing. Bland aroma of lemon, grain and faint caramel. Boring but drinkable - flavour of musty lemon and straw. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation. Not a great beer by any means, but certainly better than their Pendle Witches Brew.

Bottle from Asda. Crisp and clean tasting golden ale with a thin head. It has a nice pale hopped aroma with a dry taste.

Bottle from B&M Bargains; clear golden pour with white frothy head, difficult to detect any significant aroma just a feint whiff of malt, taste like a decent quality macro pale lager, malts, tiny hop, some skunkiness.

Bottle at home on 3rd February 2013. Pours golden amber with diminishing white foam and patterned lacing. Fruity, sweetish aroma with some grassy hops, peach notes. Plenty of sweet fruits and grapefruit citrus in-mouth; dryish finish on a zingy mouthfeel, light to medium body.

Hazy golden yellow with good head. Aroma is grassy hops with citrus hints. Medium bodied with good smooth carbonation. Flavour is quite light, with a nice balance of slight light malt sweetness and citrus tang. There are enough other subtle flavours to make this interesting - spice and a pleasant gentle bitterness. A nice beer.

50cl bottle from Morrisons. Amber with a billowing white head; floral aroma; soft in the mouth with some light citrus and caramel; and a lightly bitter finish. Pleasant enough, but rather average.

Golden ale with a mild, sweet aroma. A balanced, refreshing taste though a relatively average beer. Drinkable, inoffensive but unremarkable.
