Cask at the Templar. Leeds jaunt. Pours clear pale yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus, lemon in particular. Taste is light sweet, more lemon. Bitter, but thin finish.

Cask at the Retreat, Reading. Golden-amber in hue, with a thick white head. Mild caramel and light citrus. Frankly a bit bland. The body is decent, so it might make a reasonable session beer, but in the flavour stakes it does fall a little short.

From B&M. Hazy gold. Messy, bubbly, white head. Sweet, phenolic thing happening. Holy shit, this is rank. It’s sweet and bitter in all the wrong places, at the wrong time. Sink bound.

part of my 2013 backlog, and tried at the Peterborough Beer Festival 2013. Slightly coludy pale golden beer with a white head. Aroma is lightly floral, as is the taste, which also has citrus, and a bitterness like marmalade.

Cask @ St. Urho. Aroma is fulfilled with grass. Also some distant buttery tones. Flavour has strong grass tones, butter and herbal hops. Also some distant bready tones. Very hoppy, yet balanced. Nice.

Bree Louise. Cask. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and slightly soft. Mild fine carbonation. Light cream in the malt. Mellow orange marmalade citrus. Light floralness. Comes together reasonably well in to a softish finish. Mild bitter linger.
