Pale Ale with British and Aussie hops. An easy drinking pale ale with a touch of amber malt and a combination of British Bramling Cross and Australian Galaxy hops. Four malts, four hop additions and at 4.4% Quartermaster seemed the perfect name.

Bottle from BEER:shop, St. Albans. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, fruits, flowers and hops. Light bitter finish.

Bottle from BEER:shop, St. Albans. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and nutty. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 170218

Bottle from a friend in Hertfordshire. A hazy amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes slightly hoppy, citrus fruit, slight caramel.

Cask gravity at the Watford beer fest 2014. Orange coloured pour with a medium haze and a halo of white head. Aroma is woody bit staling, cardboard. Light citrus on the nose. Flavour is fruity lemon, grainy cereal, some wheat and grassy rough round the edges hop. Little bit phenolic. Palate is grainy, sweetish, moderate carb. Bit stale.
