Can. Almost clear amber with a good cm of off white head that lasts well. Interesting caramelised grape aroma with berries, breadcrust and pine needles - recognisably Nelson Sauvin but from an unusual angle. Moderately sweet with some caramel as well as bread before grapes, grapefruit and pine slip though to the fairly bitter end. A number of recent IPAs styled as West Coast do this subtle updating of malt profile and bitterness and it works really well here. Perhaps slightly high in alcohol for what it offers but another very good beer from this Carwyn pack.
