Hazy light yellow body and some awkward foam gone fast. Smells of lemon soda, some potpourri. Taste is weak floral hops, chalk hints, ends with lingering sugar. Not bad, a little muddled.

On tap at Boardwalk, pours a cloudy muddled yellow with a small white head. Nose reveals that muddy kveik yeast, with a dirty earthiness to it, bready malt and a touch of citrus hops. Flavour is much the same; there's a muddled hop character that might be due to the yeast. Dry, earthy, muddy. I really don't get why kveik yeast has caught on — it ends up ruining almost everything if not used exactly right, and most brewers don't seem to be up to the task. This ain't selling me.
