Coffee and chocolate notes are front and center in this rich stout that finishes robust and satisfying. Specially selected malts feature chocolate rye, golden oats, and cold-steeped roasted barley to maintain full body and roasted malt character. Served on nitro for a creamy smooth mouthfeel.

Good blackness, nice foam. Smells of coffee and cocoa, rather simple. Taste is chocolate syrup and cocoa, ending nicely smooth. Pretty good.

On nitro tap at The Bakery, pours black with a medium tan head. Nose is full of oats, dry chocolate and coffee. Flavour is very creamy, with a real nice interplay between the coffee, chocolate, and hearty oatmeal character. This is so much improved from the crappy, Irish version of this a couple years ago. For a 5.1% stout, the mouthfeel is sturdy and managed to pack a punch. Good stuff.
