Clear medium brown body and okay foam. Aroma is great barrel funk, some slight tart grain. Taste is very nice tart barrel, good grain, I wouldn't say bourbon though. Sadly it's all dragged down by lingering dog hair and steel wool. Some nice elements but this needs work.

473mL can, pours a hazy amber orange with a tiny head. Aroma reveals loads yogurty lacto notes upfront, with gentle bourbon, and a touch of stone fruits. Flavour is full of yogurty character -- this is mostly lacto, with gentle bourbon that's almost completely muted. Too much lacto, little depth, little bourbon. Fun concept, poor/cheap execution.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Golden colour, slightly hazy, no head. Sweet bourbon aroma, mild fruit, very ripe, some alcohol. Good body, moderately sour, it has some pleasant residual sweetness, it's fruity, and then there is some spirit, bourbon; it tastes a bit like an Old Fashioned.
Good.

16oz on Alex's porch. Appearance: clear dark golden with a white head. Aroma: sweet peaches with vanilla and bourbon notes. Taste: along the same lines, lot of fruit and vanilla. Overall: pretty good.

Poured from the tap. Clear copper gold with small off white head. Oak, mild vanilla, light lemon, alcohol, medium-thin body. Wish there was slightly more to it. A little bit harsh despite the light body.
