Baltic Porter brewed with seven varieties of grain for malt notes of coffee, molasses, chocolate and liqourice, fermented with a classic German lager yeast strain then cold conditioned for nearly two months. Clean, relatively light-bodied yet complex and distinctive.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 17/09/23. Black with a well presented lasting khaki head. Nose is dark malts, herb, cocoa powder, toffee, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises dark malts, burnt toffee, brown bread, charr, spice, hint of liquorice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Okay but lacking depth for the ABV.

2/9/2023. Can at Cardiff GP beer share. From Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours close to black with a large frothy beige head. Aroma of molasses, coffee, liquorice, roasted malt, dark chocolate, tar, coal, hint of plastic. Moderate sweetness and medium plus roasted bitterness. Medium body, slightly watery, average carbonation.
