Draught@Bryggeri Helsinki (backlog). Deep ruby colour with a mediumsized creamy beige head. Aroma is banana, some spices, yeast, chocolate and mild nutty notes as well. Flavour is bananas, some spices, mild chocolate, som nutty notes as well as some citrus and wheat to it. Pleasant, and quite heavy tasting, without being too sweet.

Tap at Bryggeri Helsinki. Clear deep ruby color, creamy off-white head. Banana aroma with nutty notes. Medium-bodied. Banana, nutty maltyness, perhaps some chocolate too. Nice, well’brewed and probably unique in Finnish beer scene.

Tap at Brewpub Bryggeri, Helsinki. Colour is murky brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Dark fruits, hints of chocolate, wheat, some sweetness and malts. Quite malty and carbonated.

Aroma is quite typical to dunkelweizens; sweet with ripe bananas and some yeasty notes. Flavour has banana esthers, some sweetish toffee. Finishes somewhat tart and bitter with herbs and grapefruit. Solid dunkelweizen anyway.

(Keg at Bryggeri Helsinki, 20140101) The beer poured dark brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had chocolate, toasted malts and banana. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, chocolate, fruitiness, ripe banana, grass and bitterness. Afteraste was maltly and bitter. The beer was more malt forward than I expected. A bit harsh aroma but otherwise good.
