Golden Vicious is a dry apple cider with some serious anti-establishment attitude. Fresh winter apples from Lohja combined with champagne yeast makes one seriously delicious cider that is farcry from the ubersweet commercial examples.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy golden, small head. Aroma of tart apple carts. Tart with light to medium body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Apple carts with mild citricity and bitter apple seeds.

[ As Top Fuel Golden Vicious - Apple Cider ].
ABV: 5.8%. Cloudy - hazy looking with a medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is apple, apple juice, sweet apples, yellow apples, applesauce - sweet applesauce. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average duration, tart, apples, sweet apples, yellow apples, dry. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20240107]

Bottled@Gustav Wasa, Vaasa. Hazy yellowish golden colour iwth not too much head. Aroma is quite yeasty, but also has a nice quite tartish, but sweet apple juice tone to it. Flavour is rather similar and has a quite nice crisp and dry bite to it. I’d like it a little more dry, but it’s still rather good as is. One of the better Finnish ciders.
