Saison fermented in a foudre with our house saison yeast and Brettanomyces, then aged in wine barrels with pear cider from Frecon Farms (Boyertown, PA). Notes of bright pear, sweet champagne, and earthy funk, with a dry, slightly tart finish.

Tap. Pale blonde. Lemon and apple in the aroma. Pear and a hint of vanilla in the flavor. Fruity, dry finish. Nice.

Tap at Walhalla in Amsterdam. Semi clear and pale golden pour with a medium white foam. Nose: sweet jam mixed with wild apple sour and burnt sugar. Mouth: winey, sweet a bit with a malty overall.

Smoky malt, pears, and fresh hay aroma. Hazy pale yellow with minimal head. Mildly sweet pear, biscuit malt, mildly sour vinegar, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Great body and balance. Very enjoyable.
