Uuden jyväskyläläispanimon mahonginpunainen, täyteläinen, moniulotteinen talvi-iltojen lämmittäjä belgiahenkeen. Todellinen nautiskelijan olut.

Kirkkaahko tummanruskea olut ei juuri vaahtoa. Tuoksu maltainen, pehmeä, kevyesti belgihiivainen. Maku maltainen, hieman marjainen. Ei ihan yllä belgiveljiensä tasolle.

Bottled (backlog). Deep ambery brown colour with a small off-white fluffy head. Aroma is berries, some yeast, mild sour wooden notes as well as some hrbs. Flavour is quite similar, with some burnt sugary notes as well. I’m not sure if this is unclean or what, but feels like a rather messy big abv mess.

Bottle at Pub Winston. Deep ruby color, small beige head. Berryish, a bit earthy aroma. Belgian yeasty. Medium-bodied. Berryish, Belgian yeasty, red currant. Not really typical qdr. Similar to Kanttori, Munkintie and other Finnish Belgians.

Bottle 0.33l at Kitty’s, Helsinki. Erä #110. Colour is brown with very small white head. Aromas and flavors: Hints of dark fruits, some sourness and tartness, dryness and hints of malts. Body is very weak. No signs of Belgian style quads. Actually this is quite horrible with some strange vibes.

33 cl bottle @ Kitty’s. Batch #110, no BBE info
Aroma is rather mild with some sweet malt and hints of berries. Flavour is somewhat tart with cherries, some woody tones and cranberry juice. Spices take over at the end of the glass. This has some elements from sour reds, sourness is not that aggressive though. Straightforward and dry stuff. Rather thin for this ABV.

IBU: 35, EBC: 55 (Bottle, 0.33 l - erä #110, at William K Kurvi, 20141111) The beer poured deep brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, aniseed and caramel. Palate was medium bodied and nearly burning with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, lightly sewer, grass, yeast and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, boozy and bitter. A messy strong brew with Belgian style yeast.
