- Kullankeltainen pils- ja vehnäoluthiivoilla käytetty hybridiolut, jonka tuoksussa yhdistyy raikas Saaz-humala ja vehnäoluen hento banaanin aromi. Maku on kermaisen täyteläinen, makeahko ja lievästi öljymäinen. Jälkimaku on kuiva ja lämmittävän alkoholimainen.

Jälleen kerran Kitty’sin liitutaulun lukemat olivat hieman eri mieltä Olutoppaasta löytyvän tiedon kanssa. Kitty’s nimittäin kertoo oluen olevan vahvuudeltaan 6.5% eikä 6.8%, mutta oli miten oli, varsin nautittavasta oluesta oli kyse. Ulkonäöltään aavistuksen utuinen keltaoranssi olut vaahtoaa kevyesti. Maltaisen makea, mutta samalla kivasti hieman havuisen ja eksoottisen humaloitu kokonaisuus sekä maultaan että tuoksultaan. Tuoksussa makeus korostuu, mutta maussa kiva humalointi tuo alun viljaiseen maltaisuuteen kivaa twistiä. Oikein toimiva kokonaisuus.

Draught@Rotterdam, Helsinki. Goldeny amber colour, mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is fruity, some bready notes along with mild wood, alcohol and some floral notes as well. Also mild yeastiness. Flavour is fruity, floral, citrusy and mildly grassy notes. Quite tasty as for the flavour.

Pours golden orange with a smooth head. Aroma of bready malts, grass, earthy notes and spices. Taste is smooth, malty and bready with some grass and earthy notes. Finish is sweetish malty, hoppy and bready with nice notes of grass and citrus. Nicely balanced and tasty maibock. These guys sure know how to brew proper and clean German style beers.

Tap@brewpub. Unclear, golden color, lacing white head. Ripe banana, malt, minerally notes in aroma. Pleasant. Flavor has citrus, spicy notes, yeast, malt. Quite dry finish. Strong saison wibes. Really refreshing. Solid.

Tap at Bryggeri Helsinki. Hazy orange color, decent creamy white head. Aroma has banana and some herbal hoppyness. Medium-bodied. Sweetish banana, herbal hoppyness and alcohol. A bit woody too. Very German. Ok.

(Keg at Bryggeri Helsinki, 20140417) The beer poured orange and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, clove, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, clove, banana, malts, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, spicy and bitter. A tasty bock with a pleasant twist from weizen yeast.

Tap at Brewpub Bryggeri Helsinki, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, banana, hints of citrus, grain, wheat, caramel, some sweetness, hops and malts. Interesting mixture. Looks like Bryggeri Helsinki can only do better than average (German-style) beers.

Aroma is fruity and grainy with some peaches and passionfruit. Flavour has fruity hops, malty heaviness, some minerals and exotic fruits. Finishes with grassy hops. A maibock on the hoppy side.
