Pours dark brown with a small foamy head. Aroma of fruity hops, roasty malts and chocolate. Taste is roasty with mild notes of fruity hops and coffee. Finish is roasty and hoppy with mild bitterness and fruity notes. Quite well balanced and tasty porter/brown ale hybrid.

Draught @ the brewpub
Aroma is malty with roasted notes and hints of chocolate. Flavour is malty with roasted notes, some coffee and dark chocolate. The house aroma is present in the background. Dry and slightly ashy finish. Could be more rich but good anyway.
