Draught@Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Ambery golden colour with a small white head. Leaves good lace. Aroma is fruity, floral, mild herbs and some slight wooden and resiny notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, grassy and wooden with some slight malts coming through as well. Balanced and pleasant, but a bit "too standard" as for the flavour, and it could do with a bit more crystal malts for some more crispiness.

Pours clear orange with a small foamy head. Mild aroma of grassy hops and malts. Taste is smooth, slightly malty and hoppy with some grass and fruity notes. A bit light bodied, carbonated finish with dry grassy bitterness, some hints of fruits. Decent, easy going pale ale for the masses.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20130508) The beer poured copper coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, fresh grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, fresh grass, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A clean APA but not really impressive.

Aroma has grapefruit, ome resiny noites, gooseberry bush and hay. Flavour is odd with grainy malt, hay, some grapefruit-like hops and mint. Palate is low on CO2. Confusing stuff, the hops are clearly present in the flavour too but they don’t bite.
