Bottled (BBE 2004, from old collection). Deep rubyish brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is bready, ashy, some toffee and mild roasted and burnt wooden notes. Flavour is liquorice, toasted malts, ripe fruits and some mild ashy notes.

(Bottle 33 cl) One of rather few Czech porters. More dark brown than really black with a rich, dense head. Deliciously malty and somewhat caramel-like flavours and pronounced roasted notes. Licorice-like dryness in the palate. A very solid porter. Beautiful holografic label.
