Weizen 4-grain organic blonde beer (wheat, barley, buckwheat, oats). Inspired by the Weizenbier style, whose composition is of wheat and barley malts, this beer draws its originality from the addition of buckwheat and oat malts. It is of course brewed according to the reinheitsgebot, the purity law of 1516 which prohibited Bavarian brewers from putting ingredients other than malt and hops in their beer. I therefore do not add citrus peel or coriander during brewing as is done for Flemish white beers (Witbier).

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at HBF2013) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had boiled vegetables and coriander. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, coriandes and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A weak wit.
